Henry Hacking

Interview

Henry Hacking has been on the rise for years, but 2020 was truly his breakthrough year. ‘New Love’ saw Henry nab plenty of BBC Radio 1 spins via Scott Mills, plus various KISS FM plays; racking up a whopping 2 million streams on the track. Both ‘New Love’ and his most recent offering ‘Brand New’ smashed the UK Music Week Club Charts, both reaching the coveted #1 spot.

Henry continues his House music takeover into 2021, with his latest track ‘Touch Me’.

Anni has had huge success over recent years, with tracks on Spinnin’, Armada and Sirup, alongside the likes of eSQUIRE, Nicola Fasano/Miami Rockets, Danny Dove and more; and her biggest track has clocked up over 6 million streams.

The original version of the track, by singer/songwriter legend Cathy Dennis, peaked at #5 in the UK charts back in 1991 and is known as one of the true classics on 90s dance floors.

Henry Hacking has lovingly reworked the track alongside vocalist Anni, paying true homage to an iconic anthem. This feel-good, Piano House track has tinges of Slap House, and truly is a huge crossover dance anthem in the (re)making.
